Welcome to the Bandit Masters 2018 Tour Results
The tour's second visit to La Baule was treated to fantastic weather and some excellent golf courses.  The only major negative was that Rex was unable to join us. However, Micky G did Rex proud as the fist choice stand-in. La Baule beach is truly impressive, especially when bathed in early evening sunshine, but finding bars and restaurants to the Bandit's liking still proved to be surprisingly challenging.

There was the usual heated debate about handicaps at East lsley as many of the Bandits had only played a few games since last year. In the end, the most significant change was to Mike's handicap, down from 22 to 18 for the honour of being the reigning champion.

The hyper-banditry of  last year's 40 plus points was not repeated with Luddy posting the best score of 37 on the first day, followed by Micky and Tom. This set the theme for the week with these three players always being in the top four from then on.  As so often in the past, Luddy's consistency won-out and Petar claimed the title by 3 points.  Micky was a highly creditable second, followed by Tom in third.  Congratulations to Luddy by adding another Bandit Masters Trophy to his already extensive collection.

After a promising start of 31 points on day one, Trevor lost his golf mo-jo to win the wooden putter, though he didn't seem to worry too much once he found the beach-bar.

As you can tell, Trev's ecstatic with his new putter.
