The 2009 Bandit Masters tournament was held in Southern Bittany, playing 4 courses around the historic medieval town of Vannes. The weather and location were fantastic and a good time was had by all. The high spot was La Bretesch, a truly stunning golf course with the back-drop of a fairytale château. 

Unfortunately for some the golf was far from fairytale, with Windy taking the highly un-coveted wooden putter together with lots of ridicule. Bob and Mike deserve a special mention for playing well over the 4 days and beating the pundits to finish in the first division. Fred, the late stand-in for Rex, did a sterling job and made a real contribution in all his matches. Despite Tom's best efforts he could only manage being the bridesmaid - regrettably for Tom, a position he’s becoming very familiar with. However, in the end, there was only one player with the consistency to win. Yes, with an outstanding under par round on the final day, Luddy came through to be the ultimate Bandit Master - again!
